Give us a brief summary of who you are.
My name is Luis Carlos López Cárdenas, but people call me Peto.
I live in Cambutal and I’m Surf Junior National Champion 2019.

What’s your job?
I study and practice surfing.

When did you start surfing?
I started at age of 11.

What does the sea makes you feel?
The sea creates a connection between me and nature. It’s something hard to explain. You feel free from all things and it’s amazing when you’re in the water surfing a wave. It smiles at you 🙂

How do you take care of the ocean?
Not throwing garbage in the ocean. If I see some, I pick it up. We have to be considered with the sea.
